The scent of novelty lingers in the lobby of Nokia’s new campus, completed in May last year in Linnanmaa, Oulu.
Outside, the sun glints off the snow. An international group of journalists, ranging from Forbes to German technology publications, has arrived to see what Nokia’s "Home of Radio" means in practice.
Security checks are strict. Inside the 55,000-square-meter campus, laboratory spaces are called workshops. Technicians vibrate radio modules and expose components to sub-zero temperatures.
