The pension insurance firm Ilmarinen has purchased the Pekurinkulma office building in the Oulu centrum. The deal includes the building located at Kirkkokatu 12 as well as the surrounding property. The Dutch real estate company Redevco was the seller.
The Pekurinkulma building is centrally located on the Rotuaari promenade in downtown Oulu.
The building includes offices and office spaces of various size, totaling some 4 000 square meters of floor space.
“Pekurinkulma is an excellent investment for Ilmarinen and exactly what we were looking for from the market: the location in the best spot in the city and has been used by many successful players like Stockmann at present,” says Tomi Aimonen, the real estate director at Ilmarinen.
